Some information about us:
The idea to form a coalition of progressive webgroups came from the manager of an MSN discussion forum called Night Watch 2, the hope was that as many groups as possible could be linked together in order to assist in the flow and spread of progressive thinking and ideals.
The member groups of the alliance listed below all have unique characteristics, and provide some of the best opportunities to be informed, to discuss and to debate a wide range of issues from the events of the 11th September 2001, the environment and those who would seek to do harm to our planet via their polluting, the Bush regime with its isolationist approach to the rest of the world and disregard for international law, human rights and the erosion of civil liberties through to the unjustifiable invasion and occupation of Iraq (with guerilla warfare continuing in the country), double standards by "civilised societies" when it comes to the arms trade and "rogue regimes" and the Iraeli/Palestinian tensions with their obvious impact on wider middle east issues.
Please scroll down the page to see the member discussion groups of the Progressive Webgroup Alliance. If you are the manager or owner of a progressive, free thinking discussion group, message board or mailing list, please post a message on our message boards under the heading "Join the Progressive Webgroup Alliance" with a brief description of and link to your progressive webgroup.
The Progressive Webgroup Alliance as a whole does not necessarily endorse or take responsibility for each and every view expressed on an allied groups message board, the content in a section on a specific subject, or email sent to a list. All content, membership policies and decisions of individual allied groups are the responsibility of the managers or owners of the member groups. That is, after all what makes our allied groups so unique in nature.
